What information do we collect from you?

Personal information

We need this information to for the day to day running of our website and the services that it offers. We also need this information to improve the service that we offer.

What we do with it

We use your data for our day to day activities which includes:

  • Help us provide you with the services you asked for, for example contact requests and site accounts
  • Keep a record of your relationship with us
  • Understand how we can improve our services, products, or information
  • Monitor the traffic to our website to improve its performance and offerings, as well as to keep it secure

We only allow access to personal information about you to our employees who require that information in order to provide products or services to you. We ensure that third parties – who work with us to make our website available to you and to deal with your orders and request – agree to protect your personal information.

Information about your IP address and computer, is stored on our secure UK based server. It is used to monitor the website activity and access to the server as part of standard server security measures. Other than those used for security concerns, any reports generated from this data are in an anonymised format.

Our web analytics service (Google Analytics) is located outside of the European Economic Area (EEA) or Switzerland. To protect your information the data we send to this is anonymised and this 3rd party provider is EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework certified.

Disclosure of your data

We may need to disclose your details if required to the police, regulatory bodies or legal advisors, to assist with the investigation and prevention of crime and the protection of national security.

Where we do share data with the above parties it will be appropriate to the required task and respectful of your privacy.

What we won’t do with your data

Other than the conditions listed above, we will not sell or pass on your data to any other third party.

How long do we keep your data?

We take steps to ensure that the personal data that you provide is retained for only as long as it is necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. After this period it will be deleted. Web analytics data is kept for a period of 50 months.

Where we have collected the personal data based on your consent and we have no other lawful basis to continue with that processing, if you subsequently withdraw your consent then we will delete your personal data.

What are your rights?

You have the following rights in relation to your personal information:

  • The right to be informed about how your personal information is being used;
  • The right to access the personal information we hold about you;
  • The right to request the correction of inaccurate personal information we hold about you;
  • The right to request the erasure of your personal information in certain limited circumstances;
  • The right to restrict processing of your personal information where certain requirements are met;
  • The right to object to the processing of your personal information;
  • The right to request that we transfer elements of your data either to you or another service provider; and
  • The right to object to certain automated decision-making processes using your personal information.

You should note that some of these rights, for example the right to require us to transfer your data to another service provider or the right to object to automated decision making, may not apply as they have specific requirements and exemptions which apply to them and they may not apply to personal information recorded and stored by us. For example, we do not use automated decision making in relation to your personal data. However, some have no conditions attached, so your right to withdraw consent or object to processing for direct marketing are absolute rights.
